It is not easy to pass judgement on Instant Colors. Not sure about S75 primer, but the Vallejo primer shrinks as it cures. Im not sure if this reads as nmm but Im really proud of backside view of my copper NMM Space Marine :). Pasted as rich text. I had similar results with the grey primer from Vallejo, but then I tried the black and had much better coverage with less bubbles to watch out for. My "first batch" SC75s are gel-like in consistency (some of them) and do not "flow" off the brush with dilluted with just water. The downside for minifig painting is that it may obscure or fill-in details. I've had very good results with Army Painter recently, particularly the red for my Blood Angels, so I've been picking those up too.
